Sudha Murthy is an Indian philanthropist, writer, and social worker. She is the chairperson of the Infosys Foundation and is known for her work in promoting education and promoting Indian culture. She has written several books, primarily for children and young adults, in English and Kannada, including “Wise and Otherwise” and “Grandma’s Bag of Stories”. Murty has been recognized for her contributions to society and has received several awards, including the Padma Shri and the Padma Vibhushan, two of India’s highest civilian honors.
