Colin Jackson is undoubtedly one of the greatest athletes ever in the history of British and Welsh athletics. He is the holder of two world records – indoor 60m hurdles and outdoor 110m hurdles. The 2003 indoor season was Colin’s last in the international arena as he officially retired in March at the World Indoor Championships in Birmingham, England. Since retiring Colin has appeared regularly on television and continues to be a household name in the UK.
World, European and Commonwealth 100m hurdles champion, Colin enjoyed a top three ranking in the world up until 1987, when he took the bronze medal in the Rome World Championships. The following year he went one better, claiming the silver medal at the Seoul Olympics.
In his presentations Colin chronicles his career and provides audiences with a compelling insight into what it means to lead the world in your chosen sport or chosen career.
A humorous and down to earth speaker, Colin is funny and entertaining whilst at the same time being inspirational and motivational.
