Natasha Kaplinsky is a British television presenter and journalist. She began her career as a news reporter for BBC South East before moving on to become the anchor for BBC News, presenting the BBC News at One, BBC News at Six, and BBC News at Ten. She also co-hosted the BBC’s coverage of the annual New Year’s Eve fireworks. She later moved to ITN, where she presented the lunchtime news bulletins on ITV and the breakfast news programme, GMTV. Kaplinsky has also presented various other shows such as “Strictly Come Dancing”, “Five News” and “Celebrity Big Brother”. She has also worked as a correspondent for NBC News and as a presenter on BBC Radio 2. She continues to work as a presenter and journalist in the UK.
