Lance Armstrong

In July 2005 after claiming his seventh Tour de France victory Lance Armstrong retired from professional cycling. This, despite being diagnosed with cancer at the age of 25, when he was already one of the world's best cyclists, and given a less than 50% chance of survival. With a combination of physical conditioning and a strong support system Lance's competitive spirit took over and he went on to not only beat the disease but to become the world's greatest ever cyclist.

He created the Lance Armstrong Foundation. Although Lance Armstrong's victories in the 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 Tour de France are sweet, the battle against cancer has just begun - Lance Armstrong plans to lead this fight.

Drawing on his experiences both as a world class athlete and as a cancer survivor Lance is able to inspire audiences with his moving story. He demonstrates the drive and passion that have made him the world's greatest living cyclist.

Lance is an emotional speaker; his presentations are captivating and uplifting and leave audiences feeling empowered.
