Frank Dick

Frank Dick OBE is President of the European Athletics Coaches Association. From 1988 to 1994 he was Chairman of the British Olympic Coaches Advisory Programme, and from 1979 to 1994 he was the British Athletics Federation’s Director of Coaching, where he was widely acknowledged to be one of the outstanding sports coaches in the world.
He coached athletes such as Daley Thompson, Steve Ovett and Sebastian Coe to European, Olympic and World honours and created training programmes for individuals such as Gerhard Berger and Boris Becker. Frank Dick’s contribution to sport and coaching was recognised and he was awarded the OBE in 1989.

Frank Dick is now one of the UK´s leading motivational speakers; renowned for his amusing, anecdotal, inspirational and challenging presentations. In addition to his talks, Frank has developed an exciting new approach to training and development for business through his coaching methods and he has helped develop a coaching culture in British Telecom, Unilever, Shell, Abbey National and Rolls Royce.
